The Royal Mint has partnered exclusively with Canadian Clean Technology firm Excir, to use an innovative patented chemical formula to extract gold from discarded laptops and mobile phones.

Excir’s patented technology is designed to recover more than 99% of gold contained within the circuit boards of discarded laptops and mobile phones and all components can be made and extracted onsite at The Royal Mint in Llantrisant, Wales.

To maintain the lustre of your jewellery, avoid exposure to household bleach and other cleaning products, which can quickly cause discolouration.

To clean, gently wipe the surface of your jewellery with a polishing cloth. Avoid commercial liquid polish or “dips.”

We recommend that you store your jewellery in a safe place when engaging in these activities: household cleaning, gardening, water based activity and whilst exercising.

When not being worn, we recommend that you store your jewellery its original box or a soft lined individual pouch to prevent them being scratched or tangled.

Every piece of 886 jewellery is covered by a lifetime warranty on receipt of a valid proof of purchase.

This warranty is in addition to other rights you may have in relation to the piece.

1 Year replace or repair on chains

Personalised, custom, or engraved jewellery pieces are excluded from the warranty.

Limited edition and collaboration pieces are excluded from the warranty.

Replacement of secure earring backs are excluded from the warranty.

Replacement/Repair of chains is valid up to 1 year from purchase date.

Please allow 2 to 5 days processing time for quality control inspections prior to despatch.

We’re happy to accept returns on all items except pierced earrings which are non returnable for reasons of hygiene and safety.

Should you wish to return your purchase, we are happy to offer you a refund or exchange, free of charge, provided the item or items are returned within 14 days of receipt.
