Hallmarks , often called quality marks or purity marks, are laser applied by British Assay Offices and guarantee the minimum precious metal content present in your 886 by The Royal Mint pieces, thresholds for those items requiring hallmarking are set per alloy by the Assay Offices. For design and aesthetic finishing reasons, some of the items below these thresholds are additionally hallmarked by 886, details of which can be found on individual product pages.

Each compulsory hallmarked product within the 886 by The Royal Mint collection also includes The Royal Mint's exclusive Cross Crosslet and Tower marks along with the initials of the Deputy Master of the Mint (AJ).

Compulsory and Optional Marks from all British Assay Offices may change annually to allow for unique identification or to mark special occasions. Hallmarks depicted on product image are for representational purposed only and may vary. We’re happy to accept returns on all items except pierced earrings which are non returnable for reasons of hygiene and safety.

Should you wish to return your purchase, we are happy to offer you a refund or exchange, free of charge, provided the item or items are returned within 14 days of receipt.

Every piece of 886 jewellery is covered by a lifetime warranty on receipt of a valid proof of purchase.

This warranty is in addition to other rights you may have in relation to the piece.

Limited edition and collaboration pieces are excluded from the warranty.
