886 by The Royal Mint uses X ray silver produced by Betts Metals using sustainable production on site at The Royal Mint. All the silver sourced is sustainable, traceable metal refined from medical X ray film, creating the first scalable product of its type.

The Betts Group have an exclusive partnership with The Royal Mint and are an industry leader with its ESG credentials and as a precious metal refiner. The company has worked with the NHS to acquire unused X ray film and has the capability to refine around five tonnes of film a week.
