886 2026 Half Sovereign Coin Spinner with 18ct Yellow Gold Chain

Introducing the Half Sovereign Spinning Pendant, available in 18ct gold and sterling silver. This pendant is expertly crafted at The Royal Mint and features a 2026 Half Sovereign Coin, struck in The Sovereign’s restored traditional yellow-gold alloy.
The release of the 2026 Sovereign coin range marks a significant return to heritage. Following the final minting of the “red” rose-gold alloy in 2025, the 2026 range reinstates the classic yellow-gold colour used throughout much of The Sovereign’s long history. This year also commemorates 500 years since the coinage reforms introduced under Henry VIII, which first established 22-carat gold as The Sovereign’s standard alloy — a specification that continues to define the coin today.
The Sovereign 2026 bullion coin is also the most secure yet, as both sides have been embellished with unique security features. New micro-text engraving features on the reverse to create the inscription ‘HONI SOIT QUI MAL Y PENSE,’ the motto of the Order of the Garter, which reflects the coin’s deep-rooted connection to British chivalric history. A new half-tone pattern now also features on the obverse, along with a latent image that alternates between the Tudor Crown, The King’s chosen royal cypher, and the Tudor Rose, a symbol used by Henry VII, the monarch responsible for introducing The Sovereign.
