Nature Series: June in Kew Gardens

June in Kew Gardens
Nestled in the heart of London, the vibrant and iconic Kew Gardens provides a captivating backdrop for our newest edition to the 886 Nature Series. Fusing the botanical beauty of the gardens with its lush greenery, vibrant flowers and tranquil atmosphere, this month’s series perfectly complements the exquisite craftsmanship and ethereal elegance of our 886 Pavé collection.

886 by the Royal Mint is a jewellery brand steeped in heritage, born from a rich lineage that combines the history of the Royal Mint with the world of contemporary jewellery design.

During his journeys to the Himalayas in the middle of the 19th century, Sir Joseph Hooker returned with many fresh specimens of the Rhododendron flower. After 150 years, the Dell at Kew Gardens is now covered in thick clusters of Rhododendrons that include rare hybrids that aren't seen anywhere else in the world. Blooming around May time each year, these flowers are strikingly beautiful, and guests at Kew Gardens often marvel at the lush fragrances and vibrant colouring of this flora as they stroll through the gardens.
