Nature Series: April on Thames Estuary

April on Thames Estuary
This month’s Nature Series was shot along the Thames Estuary and Wapping Beach, taking inspiration from the idea of sourcing ‘treasure’ through mudlarking – in which pieces of British heritage have been waiting to be rediscovered.

The Royal Mint uses the process of striking its alloys to create unique products such as its Signet Rings - resulting in high-quality pieces that will last for decades to come.

Creative Director Dominic Jones on striking: “It makes the pieces more solid and heavy, as well as giving them a silkiness that makes them a pleasure to wear. They’re also more long-lasting and durable. I like to think of them as heirlooms in the making. They will definitely outlive us all.”
